PostHeaderIcon Lab's Cloud - Kisses to heal EP

"Kisses to heal" is a new EP of Lab's Cloud. And it's now released on Plusquam Chillout.

The debut album of Lab’s Cloud stirred quite some euphoria among lovers of Psy Chill Out last year. Now the Spanish producer from Valencia is back with a new EP that continues the epic story of this last work. The first 4 minutes of A Kiss Is The Best Medicine consist of floating pad sounds only, beguiling the listener and stimulating his emotions in a warm shower of sound. When the relaxed percussions hit in, the journey takes an uplifting turn and rises up high into a realm of shiny harmony. Using an Indian tabla drum, the music of Lab’s Cloud has an organic touch of classic World Music. A Yamaha An1x synthesizer lends to his music an oldschool Goa vibe which is clearly noticeable in the track Wooden Train. Loaded with dreamy arpeggios, this tune stomps along on laid-back 4-4 beats which makes it compatible with both an inspiring Chill Out and an after hour dance floor.

PostHeaderIcon Hardware Interrup Released

"Hardware Interrupt" has been released (Mach 2012) in the new album of Quantica: "Drops of light"

The track is a collaboration between Psycho Abstract and Quantica.

The label: Flying spores

About the release: The Argentinian-Spanish producer Eric Mokotoff aka Quantica, settled down in his studio in Ibiza while mixing and mastering for others artists, Eric was also slowly cooking the 4th Quantica studio album...Now he is back to the party bringing us 'Drops of Light'. Drops of Light is a dynamic trip, starting from 'Eliptica' a prime example of upbeat psychedelic club to the funkiest open air vibes of 'Strange Report', bobbing drop by drop into 'Aural Exciter' a smart combination of psy roots with the uplifting proggy-psy trends, balanced with energized full-On tunes. In the early 90's Eric was the guitar player of one of the most relevant Argentinian reggae bands, echoes of those times are reflected in the collaboration with one of the UK's biggest producer, Bill Halsey aka Cosmosis, a pioneer of the genre. As well and as no less interesting mention to the track 'Hardware Interrupt' in collaboration with the Spanish talent Raul Jordan aka Psycho Abstract. 5 years after the succesfull Quantica album debut, Drops of Light keep the identity of the quantica's basic ingredients. Deep atmospheres, pumping basslines, astounding percussion, psychedelics dialogues, swirling melodies and a funky fresh touch, resulting in 9 quality tracks.

PostHeaderIcon Lab's Cloud - New Album Out NOW

LAB'S CLOUD "Organic Mathematics" released!

Finally... the first Lab's Cloud Album will see the light!

After some years producing Psychedelic Trance as “Psycho Abstract”, Raúl Jordán began a new project focused in ambient and Down Tempo music in 2004 named “Lab's Cloud”.

Altar records (Canada) is now proud to offer 'Organic Mathematics' as Lab's Cloud's first full-release!

Over the last 10 years, the evolution of both software and hardware for music production have exponentially expanded the horizons of electronic musicians. This has given maestros like Raúl access to greater and more complex tools that allow him to create stunning and complex soundscapes.

His capabilities are evident in the solid production and wondrous creativity that define this first full album.

This album will greet the listener with unique modern electro-acoustic dub infused with indigenous sounds from around the world. “Organic Mathematics” constantly evolves and explores new territories as it drifts with a gentle ebb and flow between genres while still maintaining a consistent laid back dub vibe.

Raúl 's use of melody is perfectly balanced between too much and too little, creating a saturated but not overwhelming wall of emotive sound. Add that to the finely honed production and song writing skills and you've got a sonic feast emanating from your speakers.

“Organic Mathematics" will undoubtedly resonate with down-tempo and ambient lovers worldwide. Deliciously chilled out floating melodies lightly laced with ethnic sounds, beautiful vocals, worldly percussion, ethereal flutes, and soft acoustic guitars make for a sublime fusion that culminates into an aural experience that is a definite trip for the soul!
